I will be getting broadband soon (ADSL)I know there are a few good video sites such as Launch.

Wondering does anyone know of some good online games or video sites that are for broadband users ?

Ideally ones which are FREE and require little in the way of sign ups and are SPAM friendly.

    Thanks

It's a sad fact, but there currently isn't any
'killer app' for broadband yet. Nobody knows what
to do with it. The UK and the USA have something
like a 5% take-up rate, whereas South Korea is
currently at 75%, and theirs is 20Mbps connection -
none of this lousy 350k bollox which telecom
companies espouse as wonderful - so the Koreans
just end up playing online Baang all day long with
    it.

My suggestion: download Limewire, and just download,
download, download everything which takes your
fancy, just be careful with anything which
    unzips suspiciously (mostly sizeable programs
like Adobe stuff - music and films are normally
    OK).

Aside from that, I suppose ADSL makes playing
online stuff like Half-Life a lot more enjoyable
    than with dail-up.

Personally, though, I'd get into file sharing
with people you trust - don't just let any old
fart have access to your Shared Folders.

    Thanks D.

Im a keen peer 2 peer file sharing user, currently with my 56k connection on DC++ and Shareaza.

Will try out Limewire and also Supernova.
I will be with AOL so I'll try there online games too.
